Enhancing Brand Awareness and Online Presence for Gorbeast

Problem:

Gorbeast is a relatively new slam band, but they have not been able to gain significant recognition. As a drummer for Gorbeast, I utilized my  social media digital marketing experience in college to devise a strategy to amplify their brand awareness and reach a larger audience.

Solution:

Created a holistic strategy to help Gorbeast increase its brand awareness and reach a larger audience. The plan involved leveraging social media channels to connect with potential fans and promote the band’s music. Additionally, suggesting creating a website for the band that could serve as a hub for all of its activities and enhance its online presence.

Initially, created a robust brand identity for Gorbeast. This involved crafting a brand story that would appeal to the target audience and differentiate the band from other music acts. The marketer also designed a logo and visual style guide that would be used uniformly across all social media channels and the website to ensure consistency and build brand recognition.

Subsequently, set up social media accounts for Gorbeast on all major platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Designed a content strategy that would engage fans and showcase the band’s music. This included sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the band rehearsing and performing, as well as promoting upcoming gigs and shows.

To boost reach and engagement, I used social media advertising CRM Hubspot to target potential fans with email marketing to understand  their interests and demographics. I developed content through Hubspot and used data on previous post to narrow down to the niche audience and created a contact lead generation list through defined lead strategies. 

In addition to the social media marketing strategy, I designed and developed a website for the band. The website showcased the band’s music, videos, and Graphic art, as well as provided information about upcoming shows and events. To even integrate an online store where fans could purchase merchandise and music.

Results:

The social media marketing and website design strategy proved highly successful in enhancing Gorbeast’s brand awareness and web traffic. In a few months, the band had gained over ten thousand followers across all social media platforms, and their music was being shared and discussed by music enthusiasts online. The website also received an increase in traffic, with over five thousand unique visitors per month. The online store generated over ten thousand dollars in revenue in the first month of its launch.

To measure the success of the strategy, I analyzed data from social media and website analytics. The band’s social media accounts had an increase in engagement and followers. The website also received an increase in traffic, which resulted in more visitors using and engaging in blogs and content.

Conclusion:

The social media marketing and website design strategy helped Gorbeast overcome its lack of brand awareness and establish itself as a successful music act with a growing fan base. By leveraging social media and creating a robust web presence, I was able to increase the band’s reach and engagement with potential fans. Data analysis showed that the strategy was successful in achieving the goals, and the band continues to grow in popularity and success.
